I’m Josh Ether: author, speaker, leadership coach, innovator, father, builder of things that matter. Throughout my life, whether standing on a TEDx stage, guiding organizations through transformation, or kneeling on the floor with my kids, I’ve learned that the most lasting impact isn’t made by grand gestures — it’s made in the day-to-day grit, the real conversations, and the willingness to get my hands dirty for what I believe in.
A Life Built on Service and Strategy
Rooted in servant leadership and systems thinking, my work blends ancient wisdom with modern execution. Whether I’m helping organizations shift from performative to transformational change, or coaching individuals to reconnect with what’s truly in their control, my philosophy is simple: Service is the foundation of leadership — not an optional ideal.
Through Minds Unleashed, the consulting firm I founded, I’ve partnered with Fortune 100 companies, start-ups, and non-profits alike to drive real, sustainable transformation. Along the way, I authored Distracted Development, delivered a TEDx Talk on Gaslighting to Growth, and reshaped how teams think about productivity, culture, and the art of meaningful work.
But titles and accolades don’t tell the whole story. I’m also a father trying to teach my children the values of integrity, resilience, and humility. A student of history and philosophy, endlessly fascinated by how ideas endure across time. And a game developer, storyteller, and creator, constantly building — because making things, real things, is how I leave fingerprints on the world I’ll one day leave behind.

Why I’m Here
